Weekend and guests

The weekend has almost passed. Well, for me every day is a weekend... ;o) But it is nice when Gustav has time off too.

Friday night we went out for beers with some of his friends. The night ended at Bund 18 - a super fashionable place on the Bund crowded with expats and very rich Chinese. A little like the Yacht Club in Papua New Guinea. Maybe not the place I will return to on a general basis but fun to see.

On Saturday Gustav and I went shopping at the market. Canada Goose jackets that look really good for 320 Swedish crowns for anyone interested. Two pairs of shoes, a table cloth, a camera tripod, sunglasses and a fake leatherman later we felt the need to relax and went to get a foot massage. Mmmm!

When we walked on our street this morning they sold snakes, turtles and small rabbits from small boxes on the street. Alive! I guess they are for eating... We continued to the gym which is super nice and in the same building as where my mandarin classes will be. After sweating for an hour we went for brunch with my old high school friend Oscar and his girlfriend Ingrid. They are here for a couple of days to check out the city and maybe move here. So fun to meet and update the last couple of years.

At 15:30 Linda, my friend from Grenoble, landed. She will stay for two weeks and explore China with me. Fun!!!

Keep in touch!

  1. Hej hej.

  2. Hello my friends!

I already wondered when you guys will leave calm Switzerland and go to broiling China. Hope you will have a wonderful, interesting time.

I am still busy - two more exams on friday and saturday than my vacation will start. 5 Days in Rome, I am really looking forward to it (it turned cold in Germany!).

    Let´s keep in touch!

  3. Hej finingar!
